Job summary

SURGE Staffing in Fredericktown, Ohio is seeking a Die-Cast Maintenance Associate to support daily die-cast operations by performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and equipment improvements to maximize uptime, safety, and production efficiency.

The role requires mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic maintenance experience; familiarity with die-cast equipment is a plus. Work on first, second, or third shifts in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic maintenance experience preferred.
• Experience with die-cast equipment, die maintenance, or industrial machinery is a plus.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform repairs safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair die-cast machinery and related equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and respond to planned and unplanned downtime.
• Support production by identifying and implementing equipment efficiency improvements.
• Rebuild dies, machine components, and related equipment as needed.
• Perform planned and unplanned crucible replacements.
• Assist with all other die-cast maintenance and production support activities as required.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintenance standards.
