Connectly Recruiting is seeking a Die Cast Changeover Specialist for the Cedarburg, WI area. The role focuses on high-pressure aluminum die casting, performing die changes, setting process parameters, and ensuring safe, efficient operation on a 2nd shift.

Ideal candidates will have 2+ years of hands-on die cast setup or heavy machinery changeover experience, strong troubleshooting in hydraulics/pneumatics, and the ability to operate cranes and forklifts in an ISO-certified manufacturing

Qualifications

• Demonstrated career stability with at least 2 years at each prior employer.
• Hands-on setup or changeover experience in high-pressure aluminum die casting or heavy industrial manufacturing.
• Strong troubleshooting in mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and reading setup sheets.

Responsibilities

• Execute complete die changes and tooling setups for high-pressure aluminum die casting machines and related automation equipment.
• Set and fine-tune process parameters including melt temperatures, pressures, and cycle timing.
• Rig and install dies, trim tools, and cooling/lubrication lines with proper rigging.
• Troubleshoot setup, machine, or casting defects to optimize cycle times and reduce scrap.
• Inspect hydraulic, pneumatic, and cooling systems before production starts and sign-off.
• Coordinate with Quality and Production for first-piece inspections and setup sheet adherence.
• Follow Lockout/Tagout and crane safety procedures during all operations.
