Job summary

vRad (Virtual Radiologic) is seeking a Technology Integration Engineer, L1 to serve as the primary customer contact for DICOM and VPN technology implementation. You will support the Solutions Development team in pre-implementation, manage the technical rollout, and hand off to Technical Support.

Responsibilities include coordinating VPN tunnels, configuring DICOM devices, creating hand-off documentation, and assisting with HL7 interfaces and other integration tasks; travel to client sites may be

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Information Systems/MIS, computer science, business or related field
Minimum 2 years experience in implementing or supporting a technical integration environment
Understanding of application, data, and systems integration
Strong interpersonal skills for communication with IT leadership and functional business teams
Understanding of DICOM and HL7 standards

Responsibilities

Act as the primary customer contact for DICOM and VPN technology implementation
Coordinate or perform technical implementation activities from pre-implementation to hand-off
Collaborate with Solutions Development, Engineering, Sales, and Support teams
Develop documentation for the Technical Support team for post-implementation hand-off
Coordinate or implement HL7 or other electronic interfaces using vRad’s Rhapsody engine
Travel to client sites or corporate office as needed
