Job summary
Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Dialysis Technician in Chicago, IL for a part-time contract role. The technician will operate dialysis machines and provide direct patient care, working closely with registered nurses as part of the patient care team.
Minimum requirements include a valid state dialysis license, relevant certification, and at least 1 year of dialysis experience. Competitive pay is offered with benefits where applicable.
Qualifications
- Possession of a valid State professional dialysis license, where required.
- Dialysis Technician Certification by the National Nephrology Technology Certification Board preferred and/or per state or client requirements.
- Minimum of one year experience in dialysis preferred.
- Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
- Current CPR if applicable.
- TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
- Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
Responsibilities
- Operate dialysis machines and provide care to patients undergoing dialysis.
- Work directly under and with registered nurses as part of the patient care team.
- Support adherence to professional standards and safety policies.
