Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Dialysis Technician in Chicago, IL for a part-time contract role. The technician will operate dialysis machines and provide direct patient care, working closely with registered nurses as part of the patient care team.

Minimum requirements include a valid state dialysis license, relevant certification, and at least 1 year of dialysis experience. Competitive pay is offered with benefits where applicable.

Qualifications

• Possession of a valid State professional dialysis license, where required.
• Dialysis Technician Certification by the National Nephrology Technology Certification Board preferred and/or per state or client requirements.
• Minimum of one year experience in dialysis preferred.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

The Dialysis Technician provides dialysis treatment topatients suffering from kidney failure.The Dialysis Technician is responsible for operating dialysis machinesand providing care to patients undergoing dialysis treatment. The Dialysis Technician works directly underand closely with registered nurses as members of the patient care team.
