Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Chicago, IL is seeking a Dialysis Technician to join our patient care team. No prior dialysis experience is required; on-the-job training is provided and you will work in our 6201 W. 63rd St clinic with rotating shifts and a 40-hour work week.

You will assist with the setup and operation of hemodialysis machines, monitor patients, perform routine care and documentation, and participate in CQI activities. Comprehensive benefits start after 30 days and training is paid.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CPR certification required.
• CMS/state licensure required within the applicable timeline.
• No prior dialysis experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• Healthcare experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Setup and operation of hemodialysis machines.
• Monitor patients’ condition during treatment.
• Record vital signs, weight, and treatment data.
• Educate patients on treatment adequacy measures and related procedures.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized treatment area.
• Assist with infection control and equipment maintenance.
