Job summary

University Health is seeking an Executive Director of Dialysis Services to oversee administration and clinical direction of all dialysis programs within our health system. You will work with Medical Directors to plan, organize, and lead growth and efficiency while ensuring regulatory compliance and best patient care practices.

The role requires leadership across renal clinics, inpatient, outpatient, home dialysis, and jail dialysis services, with collaboration across sites and communities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is required; Master’s degree preferred.
• 3+ years as a clinical nurse supervisor or director in dialysis services; leadership experience in multi-system dialysis operations is highly preferred.
• Current RN license (Texas); BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee clinical dialysis services across multiple sites to ensure high-quality patient care and regulatory compliance.
• Supervise and mentor clinical and support staff; drive recruitment and staff development.
• Manage operating and capital budgets to meet organizational goals and optimize resource use.
• Develop and update clinical and administrative policies to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Represent the dialysis services in community and professional settings.
