Job summary

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts nursing licensure and registration required.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the Nursing Process for patient care from admission to discharge.
• Performs patient assessment and reassessment per standard procedure.
• Develops and coordinates care plans including discharge planning.
• Directs, supervises, coordinates and evaluates nursing care within the unit.
• Delivers medications and assists with procedures as required.
• Documents patient care according to standard procedures.
• Collaborates with healthcare providers to ensure quality care.
• Participates in governance, education and quality initiatives.
• Contributes to staff development and performance improvement.
