Job summary
Avera Sacred Heart Hospital in Yankton, SD, is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to provide dialysis care. The role includes varied shifts (MWF 5am-5pm; Tu/Th/Sat 5am-3pm) with a rotating weekend schedule and potential sign-on bonus up to $15,000. A student loan repayment option may also be available.

Qualifications
- Must hold RN license in the state of practice and be eligible for hire.
- Ability to work the specified hours and communicate effectively.
- Dialysis experience or critical care experience preferred; home dialysis experience considered beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Performs and maintains proficiency in dialysis treatments.
- Provides oversight and delegation to department staff.
- Ensures compliance with water room equipment operation and standards.
- Adheres to CMS/ESRD-renal network and QA processes.
- Documents in patient records per policy.
- Coordinates care with Medical Director, Nephrologist, patients and staff.
- Educates patients on dialysis processes and self-care.
