Job summary

U.S. Renal Care in Hawaii is seeking an RN Charge Nurse to supervise nursing services each shift, directing staff and operations in a dialysis center. You will supervise on-duty personnel, ensure safe, efficient patient care, and collaborate with the Medical Director and physicians.

Responsibilities include administering medications as ordered, supporting anemia management protocols, and orienting new staff as a preceptor while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in applicable state. License must be maintained as current and in good standing.
• 12 months experience in providing nursing care, including 3 months of experience in providing nursing care to patients on maintenance dialysis.
• CPR certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Demonstrated ability to function in a leadership position and to perform in new and emergent situations with sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing services each shift and supervise staff.
• Assist with clinical and operational processes to improve patient health and minimize hospitalizations and missed treatments.
• Administer medications as ordered by the physician.
• Assist physician during rounds and transcribe/implement orders timely.
• Assist with anemia management and medication protocols as requested.
• Comply with health laws and company policies while performing duties.
