Job summary

Corewell Health's dialysis unit at Wayne Hospital in Wayne, MI, is hiring a full-time RN to provide professional nursing care within the dialysis program. You will plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process, collaborate with physicians and families, and educate patients about treatment goals and self-care.

Qualifications

• Associates in Nursing Required
• Bachelors in Nursing Required within 5 years
• Graduates from a non-accredited school of nursing must have at least one year of acute care experience or two years in licensed health care and pass NCLEX
• MI Registered Nurse (RN) Required
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support Required upon hire
• Specialty Certification highly recommended within 2 years
• 2 years nephrology experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care using the nursing process.
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and discharge patient care.
• Collaborate with physicians, patients, and families in planning care.
