Job summary

Satellite Healthcare in Kentfield, CA is seeking a Staff Nurse to deliver patient-centered nephrology care. You will participate in professional development, quality assessment, and the application of research findings to improve outcomes in dialysis patients.

You will lead interdisciplinary teams, uphold ethical practice per nephrology standards, and advocate for patients and families. California RN license and CPR certification are required; dialysis experience is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 1 year of registered nurse experience; dialysis experience preferred.
  • Education: Graduation from an accredited nursing school or equivalent.
  • License/Certification: Current, active RN license; CPR certification required.
  • Knowledge: Competent in Electronic Health Records; ability to organize and prioritize projects independently.

Responsibilities

  • Engage in professional development and quality improvement activities.

Responsibilities

As a Staff Nurse you will actively participate in professional role development activities, including continuing education, quality assessment and improvement, and the review and clinical application of research findings. The Staff Nurse develops ethically sound practice and confronts ethical challenges through the application of the Nephrology Nursing Standards of Practice and the state Scope of Practices.

Minimum qualifications

Experience: One (1) year of registered nurse experience. Minimum 3 months (California & Tennessee) or 6 months (Texas) of experience as a Nephrology Nurse with dialysis experience required; a combination of in-center, and/ or acute, hemodialysis required

Education: Graduation from an accredited nursing school or equivalent

License/Certification: Current, active, unencumbered state RN licensure. Current Healthcare Provider certification (CPR) required

Minimum Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Competent and in-depth knowledge regarding the use of Electronic Health Records. Ability to organize, prioritize and complete projects independently
