Job summary

Satellite Healthcare seeks a Staff Nurse in California to actively participate in professional development and apply nephrology nursing standards. You will lead interdisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care and contribute to quality improvement efforts.

The role emphasizes ensuring compassionate, ethical practice and advancing patient outcomes in a nephrology/dialysis setting.

Qualifications

• One year of registered nurse experience.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing school or equivalent.
• Current, active, unencumbered state RN licensure.
• Current Healthcare Provider CPR certification.
• Competent knowledge regarding use of Electronic Health Records.
• Ability to organize, prioritize and complete projects independently.

Responsibilities

• Participate in professional role development activities including continuing education, quality assessment and improvement, and review and clinical application of research findings.
• Apply Nephrology Nursing Standards of Practice and state scope of practice.
• Lead interdisciplinary teams to provide quality nephrology care.

As a Staff Nurse you will actively participate in professional role development activities, including continuing education, quality assessment and improvement, and the review and clinical application of research findings. The Staff Nurse develops ethically sound practice and confronts ethical challenges through the application of the Nephrology Nursing Standards of Practice and the state Scope of Practices.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Experience:

One (1) year of registered nurse experience. Minimum 3 months (California & Tennessee) or 6 months (Texas) of experience as a Nephrology Nurse with dialysis experience required; a combination of in-center, and/ or acute, hemodialysis required

Education:

Graduation from an accredited nursing school or equivalent

License/Certification:

Current, active, unencumbered state RN licensure Current Healthcare Provider certification (CPR) required

Minimum Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Competent and in-depth knowledge regarding the use of Electronic Health Records Ability to organize, prioritize and complete projects independently
