Fresenius Medical Care Huntington is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support dialysis treatment under the supervision of a licensed nurse. Responsibilities include patient assessment, setup and operation of dialysis equipment, and precise documentation of vital signs and treatment parameters.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent and a valid PCT certification (national or state). Five years of patient care experience is preferred, with CPR certification mandatory.

Qualifications

• Five years of patient care experience preferred.

• Demonstrated commitment to patient safety and quality care.

Responsabilités

• Welcome patients and assess wellbeing after each treatment.
• Perform vascular access checks and assist with cannulation as directed.
• Record vital signs, treatment data, and documentation accurately.
• Monitor patients during dialysis and respond to changes per physician orders.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized treatment area and equipment.
