Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care Methuen is seeking a dedicated Patient Care Technician to assist the dialysis team in delivering safe, effective treatment. You will set up and operate dialysis machines, monitor patient status, and document treatment details under RN supervision.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, CPR certification, and prior patient care experience is preferred. This onsite position in Methuen, MA offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CMS-approved licensure/education required within state or CMS timeline.
• CPR certification required or completed prior to employment.
• Previous patient care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate hemodialysis machines and ensure safety alarms.
• Monitor vital signs, UF goals, and patient response during treatment.
• Cannulate vascular access and manage anticoagulation as directed.
• Document treatment data and communicate changes to RN.
• Assist in CQI activities and uphold infection control procedures.
