Job summary

DaVita is hiring a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support patients with end-stage renal disease in an outpatient dialysis clinic. You will provide direct, hands-on care under RN supervision, helping patients through life-sustaining dialysis treatment.

Responsibilities include setting up dialysis equipment, monitoring patients, recording vital signs, and educating patients on treatment and kidney health. You will collaborate with nurses and other care professionals in a supportive team

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Comfort around blood, needles, and medical equipment.
• Physically able to stand for long shifts.
• Willing to float between local clinics.
• Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, hygienic, and compassionate dialysis care.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment.
• Set up and maintain dialysis equipment.
• Record vital signs and patient data.
• Educate patients on treatment and kidney health.
• Collaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other care team members.
