Job summary

DaVita is hiring a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support patients with end-stage renal disease in an outpatient dialysis clinic. As a PCT, you'll provide direct, hands-on care under RN supervision, helping patients through life-sustaining dialysis treatment.

Deliver safe, compassionate dialysis care, monitor patients, set up equipment, record vital signs, and educate patients on treatment and kidney health while collaborating with the care team across clinics.

Qualifications

• Accredited High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Comfortable around blood, needles and medical equipment.
• Willing to float between local clinics as needed.
• Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, hygienic dialysis care under RN supervision.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment.
• Set up and maintain dialysis equipment.
• Record vital signs and patient data.
• Educate patients on treatment and kidney health.
• Collaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers and care team.
