Job summary

CH01 CHE Fresenius Medical Care (Schweiz) AG is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support dialysis treatments across multiple locations in MD, DC, and VA. The role involves setup and operation of dialysis machines, monitoring patients, recording data, and ensuring a clean, safe environment.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, CPR certification, and willingness to travel as part of a regional float role.

Qualifications

• Experience in patient care is preferred and CPR certification is required.
• CMS/state licensure requirements may apply where applicable.
• Ability to assist with dialysis procedures and patient monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate hemodialysis machines under supervision.
• Monitor vital signs, weigh patients, and document treatment data.
• Assist with vascular access cannulation and heparin administration as directed.
• Maintain infection control and prepare labs and samples as needed.
• Record treatments and communicate changes to the RN or supervisor.
