Fresenius Medical Care AG in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to join the dialysis health care team. The role involves setup and operation of hemodialysis machines under the supervision of a licensed nurse, maintaining a safe and clean work environment, and participating in quality improvement activities.

The PCT will monitor patients, assist with cannulation and UF goals as prescribed, document treatment data, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Competenze

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CMS-approved state and/or national certification within the required state or CMS timeline.
• All appropriate state licensure, education, and training required.
• Previous patient care experience in a hospital setting preferred.

Mansioni

• Assist in setup and operation of hemodialysis machines and related treatment
• Monitor patient status and vital signs before, during and after dialysis
• Evaluate vascular access patency and cannulation as directed
• Perform infection control and environmental hygiene per facility policy
• Document treatment data accurately and timely in the designated system
• Report any significant changes in patient condition to RN or supervisor
• Participate in CQI activities and patient safety initiatives
