Job summary

CH01 CHE Fresenius Medical Care (Schweiz) AG is hiring a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to join the East Peoria, IL dialysis team. You will assist with the setup and operation of hemodialysis machines, monitor patients during treatment, and ensure safe, clean conditions in the treatment area.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, CPR certification, and prior patient care experience. You will document treatment data, support CQI activities, and collaborate with RNs to provide quality

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CPR certification preferred and may be required by state.
• Experience providing patient care in health-care settings is preferred.
• Ability to work under supervision and follow physician orders and nursing direction.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate hemodialysis machines per orders.
• Monitor patient vital signs and condition during treatment.
• Document treatment data and equipment parameters accurately.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and infection-controlled environment.
• Assist with vascular access cannulation and post-treatment care.
