Job summary

Dialysis Clinic, Inc. is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support the dialysis treatment team in delivering high-quality care to patients with end-stage renal disease.

The role includes infection control, patient education, vital signs, and assisting with the machine setup and treatment under RN supervision. We offer four 10-hour shifts starting at 4:30am, Sundays off, paid 12-week training, comprehensive benefits, PTO including holidays, and a mission-driven culture in a nonprofit,

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• Desire to collaborate with care teams.
• Ability to problem solve.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in infection control, risk management and patient education activities.
• Guide new patients through 120-day education plan.
• Obtain and record patient vital signs and machine readings during treatment.
• Role under RN supervision.
• Set up and break down dialysis blood system for treatment.
• Insert and remove patient access needles.
• Monitor patients during dialysis, document changes and inform charge nurse of any concerns.
