Job summary

U.S. Renal Care, Inc. is seeking a Patient Care Technician to work under supervision of a Registered Nurse or Charge Nurse, delivering high‑quality dialysis care and patient comfort.

You will collect patient stats, initiate and monitor treatment, and handle post‑treatment tasks with a focus on safety and protocol adherence. You will prepare machines, disinfect, and log quality checks, while adhering to state/federal regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Desire to work in healthcare and care for patients.
• Experience in dialysis, phlebotomy, or as a CNA is a plus.
• Comfort with mixing acids and bicarbonate per protocol.
• Ability to distinguish all primary colors.
• Completion of USRC training program within 8 weeks; CPR within 90 days; and state/certification within 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care during dialysis sessions, including gathering stats before/after treatment, initiating and terminating treatment, and collecting blood samples per orders.
• Prepare machines for hemodialysis, clean and disinfect, and perform safety checks with documentation for quality control.
• Adhere to safety protocols, use PPE, and participate in staff meetings and continuing education.
