Job summary

DaVita is hiring a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support patients with end-stage renal disease in outpatient dialysis clinics. You’ll provide direct, hands-on care under RN supervision, helping patients through life-sustaining dialysis treatment.

Responsibilities include delivering safe, hygienic dialysis care, monitoring patients, setting up equipment, recording vital signs, educating patients on treatment and kidney health, and collaborating with nurses and the care team.

Qualifications

Accredited High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Comfortable around blood, needles, and medical equipment.
Physically able to work long shifts on your feet.
Willing to float between local clinics if needed.
Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
Preferred: CNA, MA, CHT, phlebotomy certification, or healthcare experience.

Responsibilities

Deliver safe, hygienic, and compassionate dialysis care.
Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment.
Set up and maintain dialysis equipment.
Record vital signs and patient data.
Educate patients on treatment and kidney health.
Collaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other care team members.
