Job summary

DaVita is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support patients with end-stage renal disease in an outpatient dialysis clinic. You will provide direct, hands-on care under RN supervision, assisting patients through life-sustaining dialysis treatment.

The role requires comfort with blood, needles, and medical equipment, physical stamina for long shifts, and flexibility to float between local clinics as needed. CNA/MA/CHT or healthcare experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• GED or equivalent required.
• Comfortable around blood, needles, and medical equipment.
• Physically able to work long shifts on your feet.
• Willing to float between local clinics if needed.
• Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Preferred: CNA, MA, CHT, phlebotomy certification, or healthcare experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, hygienic, and compassionate dialysis care
• Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment
• Set up and maintain dialysis equipment
• Record vital signs and patient data
• Educate patients on treatment and kidney health
• Collaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other care team members
