Job summary

DaVita in Tahlequah, Oklahoma is hiring a Patient Care Technician to support patients with end-stage renal disease in an outpatient dialysis clinic. As a PCT, you’ll provide direct, hands-on care under RN supervision, helping patients through life-sustaining dialysis treatment.

Key responsibilities include delivering safe dialysis care, monitoring patients, setting up equipment, recording vital signs, educating patients on treatment and kidney health, and collaborating with nurses and other care

Qualifications

• Requires GED or equivalent credential.
• Comfortable around blood, needles and medical equipment.
• Physically able to stand for long shifts.
• Willing to float between local clinics as needed.
• Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Preferred certifications: CNA, MA, CHT, phlebotomy.

Responsibilities

• Deliver dialysis care under RN supervision.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment.
• Set up and maintain dialysis equipment.
• Record vital signs and patient data.
• Educate patients on treatment and kidney health.
• Collaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other care team members.
