Job summary

DaVita in Ventura, CA is hiring a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support patients with end‑stage renal disease in outpatient dialysis clinics. You’ll provide direct, hands‑on care under RN supervision, helping patients through life‑sustaining dialysis treatment.

Qualifications

• Accredited High School diploma or GED or equivalent is required.
• Comfortable around blood, needles, and medical equipment.
• Physically able to work long shifts on your feet.
• Willing to float between local clinics if needed.
• Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Preferred: CNA, MA, CHT, phlebotomy certification, or healthcare experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, hygienic, and compassionate dialysis care.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment.
• Set up and maintain dialysis equipment.
• Record vital signs and patient data.
• Educate patients on treatment and kidney health.
• Collaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other care team members.
