DaVita is hiring a Patient Care Technician to support patients with end-stage renal disease in an outpatient dialysis clinic. The PCT will provide direct care under RN supervision, helping patients through life-sustaining dialysis treatment.

Responsibilities include setting up and maintaining dialysis equipment, monitoring vitals, educating patients on treatment and kidney health, and collaborating with nurses and dietitians. Flexible schedule required with weekend/holiday shifts.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent required.
• Comfortable around blood, needles and medical equipment.
• Physically able to work long shifts on your feet.
• Willing to float between local clinics as needed.
• Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Preferred: CNA, MA, CHT, phlebotomy certification, or healthcare experience.

Responsabilités

• Deliver safe, hygienic and compassionate dialysis care.
• Monitor patients before, during and after treatment.
• Set up and maintain dialysis equipment.
• Record vital signs and patient data.
• Educate patients on treatment and kidney health.
• Collaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers and other care team members.
