Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care Pekin is hiring a Patient Care Technician to join the dialysis health care team under the supervision of a licensed nurse. The role includes setup and operation of hemodialysis machines, patient education, and ensuring safety and cleanliness in the dialysis area.

Responsibilities cover monitoring vitals, adjusting treatments, documenting procedures, and communicating with the nursing staff to support patient care goals.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• CMS certification requirements must be met.
• All appropriate state licensure, education, and training.

Responsibilities

• Operate hemodialysis machines safely under RN supervision.
• Record vital signs, weight, and treatment parameters accurately.
• Maintain a clean, safe dialysis environment and assist with patient education.
• Monitor patient condition and report changes to the RN or supervisor.
