Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care seeks a Patient Care Technician to join the on-site team in Pekin, IL. Under RN supervision, you will assist with set-up and operation of dialysis machines, monitor patients, record vital signs and treatment data, and ensure a safe, clean treatment area in accordance with policies.

Qualifications include a High School diploma or GED, CMS/state certification requirements, and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or G.E.D. required.
• CMS-approved state and/or national certification requirements within the required state.
• Appropriate state licensure, education, and training if any required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setup and operation of hemodialysis machines.
• Monitor vital signs and treatment parameters during dialysis.
• Record treatment data accurately and ensure nursing signatures where required.
• Maintain a clean, safe dialysis environment and report changes to the RN or supervisor.
