Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Peoria, IL seeks a dialysis patient care technician to join the health care team under RN supervision. You will assist in setting up and operating hemodialysis machines, monitor patients, and maintain essential treatment records in a clean, safe environment.

The role supports safety and quality goals through CQI activities and education to patients on adequacy measures and disease processes. Training provided; competitive hourly pay and benefits available.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• CMS approved state or national certification requirements must be met.
• CPR certification is required.
• Previous patient care experience preferred.
• Dialysis training completion may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setup and operation of hemodialysis machines.
• Monitor patients and vital signs during treatment.
• Evaluate vascular access and perform cannulation as delegated.
• Record treatment data and maintain accurate documentation.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and proper infection control.

Education
