Job summary

You will monitor vital signs, document treatment data, assist in vascular access evaluation, and participate in CQI activities to improve patient outcomes and experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate hemodialysis machines per prescribed orders and safety standards.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and weight before, during, and after treatment.
• Record treatment data accurately on Hemodialysis Treatment Sheets and in clinical applications.
• Ensure safety alarms are enabled and maintain a safe, clean dialysis environment.
• Assist in education of patients regarding adequacy measures and post-treatment care.
• Observe for adverse events and report changes to the RN or supervisor.
• Contribute to CQI activities and participate in process improvement initiatives.
