Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a dedicated Dialysis Technician to join a patient-centric team in Georgia. You will be responsible for the setup and operation of hemodialysis machines, while ensuring safety, documentation, and patient comfort throughout treatment.

Responsibilities include monitoring patient status, recording vital signs, and collaborating with RNs to address any issues. Training opportunities and a focus on CQI are emphasized within a supportive clinical environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Must meet CMS-approved state/national certification requirements.
• All required state licensure, education, and training.
• Demonstrated commitment to organization culture, values, and customer service standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist in training of direct patient care staff under the supervision of a nurse.
• Maintain environmental integrity and cleanliness; disinfect dialysis equipment per policy.
• Operate and monitor dialysis machines and related equipment.
• Record treatment data and vital signs accurately.
• Report any significant information or changes in patient condition to the RN or supervisor.
• Perform pretreatment checks and alarm testing, including Pressure Holding (PHT).
• Monitor patients during dialysis and intervene as prescribed by physician order or protocol.
• Assist with supply ordering and equipment readiness to prevent wastage.
