Job summary

Dialysis Clinic, Inc. is seeking a Patient Care Technician (CCHT) to support our dialysis patients. You will work four 10-hour shifts starting at 4:30am, with Sundays off and no overnight shifts, under RN supervision.

Compensation ranges from $21.50 to $29.00 per hour, with paid training and a comprehensive benefits package. The role includes infection control participation, patient education, vital signs recording, and assisting with dialysis setup and lab work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Healthcare experience preferred but not required.
• CNA, EMT, medical assistant, CNT and/or phlebotomy skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Participate in infection control, risk management and patient education.
• Guide new patients through the 120-day education plan.
• Record patient vital signs and machine readings during treatment.
• Work under RN supervision.
• Set up and break down dialysis blood system for treatment.
• Insert and remove patient access needles.
• Monitor patients during dialysis and report concerns to the charge nurse.
• Calculate weight loss to reach dry weight and organize workload.
• Maintain patient privacy and professional relationships.
• Maintain and track inventory; perform laboratory work.
