Job summary

DaVita in Grand Forks, ND seeks a Patient Care Technician to provide direct dialysis care in a busy clinic. You will monitor patients, assist with machine setup and care for up to four patients at a time, under RN supervision.

The role requires flexibility for early shifts, weekends, and holidays, with paid training and opportunities to progress to advanced roles, including license reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to train and work across clinics within the territory.
• Comfortable working around blood and needles and handling dialysis procedures.
• Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care and safe, hygienic dialysis treatment for patients.
• Monitor patients before, during and after dialysis and record stats.
• Work under RN supervision and collaborate with clinicians.
• Educate patients on dialysis-related topics and build relationships.
• Support continuous process improvements for patients and teammates.
• Schedule starts as early as 4:30 am and varies by patient needs.
