Job summary

DaVita in Michigan is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support outpatient dialysis patients under RN supervision. You will provide direct, hands-on care during dialysis treatment and help patients navigate their care pathway.

Responsibilities include monitoring vital signs, setting up equipment, educating patients on kidney health, and collaborating with the care team. Flexible scheduling and opportunities for training and career growth are available.

Qualifications

• Accredited High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Comfortable around blood, needles, and medical equipment.
• Physically able to work long shifts on your feet.
• Willing to float between local clinics if needed.
• Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Preferred: CNA, MA, CHT, phlebotomy certification, or healthcare experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, hygienic, and compassionate dialysis care.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment.
• Set up and maintain dialysis equipment.
• Record vital signs and patient data.
• Educate patients on treatment and kidney health.
• Collaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other care team members.
