Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a dialysis technician to support the safe delivery of dialysis treatments. You will assist in the setup and operation of dialysis machines, monitor patients, and help maintain a clean, safe environment under RN supervision.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED and CMS/state certification as applicable, with prior patient care experience preferred. Training and certification programs are provided to ensure quality patient care.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CMS-approved state/national certification within required state or CMS timeline.
• All appropriate state licensure, education, and training required.
• Previous patient care experience in a hospital setting or related facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate hemodialysis machines.
• Assist in maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
• Assist with patient education and monitoring during dialysis treatments.
• Record vital signs, treatment parameters, and anticoagulation administration as delegated.
• Assist with transition and coordination of patient care within the unit.
