Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a dialysis technician to join our team and support safe, effective patient care during dialysis treatments. You will assist in machine setup, monitor patients, document vital signs, and ensure a clean, compliant environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, CPR certification, and state licensure eligibility. Training is provided and adherence to infection control practices is mandatory.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CMS/state licensure and certification as required for the role.
• Successful completion of the organization dialysis training program and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setup and operation of hemodialysis machines and maintain safety.
• Provide patient education on adequacy measures and treatments.
• Monitor patients during dialysis and document vital signs and treatment parameters.
• Report changes in patient condition to the RN or supervisor.
• Maintain clean, safe dialysis environment and ensure infection control practices.
• Participate in CQI activities and quality improvement efforts.
