CH01 CHE Fresenius Medical Care (Schweiz) AG is seeking an entry level Registered Nurse for the Outpatient CAP program. The RN will provide and coordinate clinically competent care, perform assessments, plan interventions, and evaluate outcomes for a group of patients, with potential delegation to care staff.

The role involves direct hemodialysis patient care, education for patients and families, and collaboration within the interdisciplinary team to ensure quality outcomes and CAP progression.

Competenze

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current or successful CPR/BLS Certification.
• Must meet practice requirements in the state of employment.
• Minimum 9 months RN experience; 3 months in chronic/acute hemodialysis preferred.

Mansioni

• Performs essential functions under supervision and with guidance from Clinical Educator, Preceptor or other RNs.
• Collects and analyzes patient data during hemodialysis and updates the medical record.
• Educates patients and families about care needs.
• Delivers safe and effective hemodialysis with the care team.
• Administers medications as prescribed and documents justification.
• Initiates or assists with emergency response measures.
• Serves as a resource and participates in staff training and orientation.
• Ensures proper lab collection, processing and shipping, and reschedules labs as needed.
• Updates nursing assessment and care plan with Interdisciplinary Team.
• Discusses transplant and treatment modality options with patients.
• Completes CAP requirements to advance in the program.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
