Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry level Registered Nurse to join the Outpatient CAP1 track within our ESKD care team. You will perform assessments, plan care, and coordinate treatments for dialysis patients under supervision, while advancing through the Clinical Advancement Program.

Responsibilities include data collection, education for patients and families, administration of prescribed medications, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current or successful CPR BLS Certification.
• Must meet the practice requirements in the state in which he or she is employed.
• RN with less than 2 years nephrology nursing experience (entry level).
• Dialysis experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and coordinate care for assigned dialysis patients.
• Document patient data and adjust treatment plan as needed.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and disease management.
• Collaborate with the care team to deliver safe dialysis therapy.
• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor effectiveness.
• Initiate or assist with emergency response measures.
• Provide staff training and orientation as needed.
• Ensure proper lab collection and processing per policy.
• Assist with documentation and care planning in the chart.
