Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Saint George, UT seeks an entry-level RN for the Outpatient RN CAP 1 track within the Clinical Advancement Program. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for an assigned group, collaborate with RNs, LVN/LPNs and Technicians, and contribute to teaching and quality improvement initiatives.

As a CAP1, you will begin with foundational responsibilities, obtain state licensure, maintain CPR/BLS, and complete CAP requirements to advance.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current state licensure.
• Current or successful CPR/BLS certification.
• Must have a minimum of 9 months experience as an RN.

Responsibilities

• Assess, coordinate, and document patient care for assigned patients.
• Participate in planning, intervention, and evaluation of care.
• Delegate appropriate tasks to direct patient care staff.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and treatments.
• Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Team to update plans of care.
• Administer medications as prescribed or per approved algorithms.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in safety procedures.
• Contribute to staff training and orientation as assigned.
• Ensure proper laboratory collection and processing procedures.
