Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse for an outpatient setting in the CAP program. The RN will provide and coordinate clinically competent care, assess and plan patient care, and collaborate with RNs, LVN/LPNs, and Patient Care Technicians in an ESRD health care team.

Responsibilities include data collection around dialysis, adjusting care plans, patient education, and emergency response as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current state nursing licensure.
• CPR/BLS certification required and current.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze patient data before, during and after hemodialysis.
• Adjust treatment plans in collaboration with the care team.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and transplant options.
• Administer medications as prescribed and document outcomes.
• Provide safe, effective hemodialysis delivery and respond to emergencies.
• Lead or support staff as assigned and participate in trainings.
