Job summary

Fresenius Kidney Care is seeking an entry level Registered Nurse for the Outpatient RN CAP 1 role. You will provide and coordinate clinically competent care for an assigned group of patients undergoing dialysis, including assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation.

As part of the End Stage Kidney Disease care team, you will collaborate with RNs, LVN/LPNs, and Patient Care Technicians, participate in education, leadership activities and quality improvement to enhance patient care and

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current state licensure.
• Current or successful CPR/BLS certification.
• Meet practice requirements in the state of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent care including assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation for assigned patients.
• Delegate appropriate tasks to direct patient care staff and collaborate with RNs, LVN/LPNs and Patient Care Technicians.
• Participate in decision-making, teaching, leadership functions and quality improvement activities to enhance patient care outcomes and facility operations.
• Administer medications as prescribed or per approved algorithms and document effectiveness.
