Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry level Registered Nurse for the Outpatient CAP 1 program. You will provide and coordinate clinically competent care, perform hemodialysis duties, and collaborate with RNs, LVN/LPNs, and technicians.

You will assess patients, document care plans, and assist with education and quality improvement activities. This role may require lifting and travel to training sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current state licensure.
• Current or successful CPR/BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze patient data during hemodialysis and document in the medical record.
• Develop and adjust the plan of care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor effectiveness.
• Provide patient and family education about transplant and treatment options.
• Lead or supervise patient care staff as assigned by the supervisor or team leader.
