Job summary

Concerto Renal Services is seeking a Dialysis Nurse to supervise dialysis care in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting in the Indianapolis area. You will provide direct hemodialysis care, educate patients, and work with a healthcare team to ensure high-quality renal care.

The role requires RN licensure, BLS, and at least one year of nursing experience including dialysis exposure. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential, with a focus on patient safety and regulatory

Qualifications

• RN must graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Current Indiana RN license or compact license.
• At least 1 year of nursing experience; 3 months dialysis experience.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct hemodialysis care, performs assessments, administers medications, and educates patients on renal health, treatment, and self-care.
• Delegates tasks to dialysis technicians, supervises their performance, and ensures compliance with clinical standards and regulations.
• Monitors patient response to dialysis, adjusts treatment plans as needed, and ensures accurate documentation of interventions and outcomes.
• Works closely with physicians and healthcare team members to coordinate care, report critical lab results, and ensure continuity of treatment.
• Maintains accurate electronic medical records, ensures timely completion of care plans, and adheres to safety and regulatory protocols.
