Job summary

U.S. Renal Care is hiring a Licensed Vocational Nurse/License Practical Nurse to support dialysis patients in our Florida clinics. The role involves collecting samples, reviewing medications, documenting patient care, and ensuring compliance with state and federal rules.

You will work under the supervision of a Charge Nurse, participate in ongoing training, and use USRC clinical applications. Prior dialysis experience is preferred, with CPR certification due within the first 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current LVN/LPN license in the applicable state and keep it current.
• CPR certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to communicate in English verbally and in writing; basic computer skills needed.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate efficient use of supplies and staff labor hours.
• Assist with billing log preparation and updates as needed.
• Obtain blood samples for laboratory analysis per physician orders.
• Complete monthly review of patient medication profiles.
• Maintain complete documentation in the patient record for treatments and communications.
• Report changes in patient condition to the Charge Nurse and report equipment issues to Biomedical Technician and Administrator.
• Participate in staff meetings and education offerings; assist with staff training.
