Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Florida is seeking a dedicated Dialysis Technician to join our dialysis health care team. You will assist with setup and operation of hemodialysis machines under the supervision of a licensed nurse and ensure a safe, clean treatment environment.

You will monitor patient status, record vital signs, manage treatment parameters, document care, and support CQI and infection control efforts in alignment with policy.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CMS-approved state and/or national certification within required state or CMS timeline.
• All appropriate state licensure, education, and training (if any) required.
• Demonstrated commitment to organization culture, values, and customer service standards.
• Previous patient care experience in hospital or related facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate hemodialysis machines and monitor therapy.
• Assess patient condition, record vital signs, and respond to alarms.
• Provide patient education and cooperate with RN according to policy.
• Maintain clean, safe dialysis environment and infection control practices.
• Document treatment data and coordinate with care team.
