Job summary

Health Systems Management, Inc. seeks a Registered Dietitian to join the Dialysis Center team. You will educate patients on nutrition, review labs, and collaborate with physicians to optimize care.

A bachelor’s degree in nutrition or Dietetics is required, with a master’s preferred. Active licensure and at least 1 year of clinical experience are expected. Flexible scheduling and excellent communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition or Dietetics is required.
• Master’s degree in nutrition or Dietetics is preferred.
• Active Dietitian licensure in the practicing state is required.
• Minimum 1 year clinical dietetics experience; ESRD preferred.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule and to fill in when needed.
• Excellent bedside manner and communication skills.
• Authorized to work for Any employer in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Provides nutrition education to hemodialysis patients.
• Completes monthly assessments and reviews labs with patients.
• Rounds with physicians weekly or as needed.
• Recommends vitamins, binders, and nutritional supplements.
• Works with interdisciplinary team to address nutritional and emotional needs.
• Monitors weights and adjusts diet and fluid needs.
• Participates in QAPI and team collaboration with other RDs.
• Engages in patient-centered education projects.
