Job summary

Health Systems Management, Inc. seeks a compassionate Registered Dietitian to join our dialysis center team in Mocksville, NC.

The role involves providing nutrition education to hemodialysis patients, performing monthly assessments, and coordinating care with physicians and a multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in nutrition or dietetics, licensure in the state, and at least 1 year of clinical dietetics experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition or Dietetics is required.
• Active Dietitian licensure in state of practice.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical dietetics experience.
• Must have flexible schedule and willingness to fill in as needed.
• Excellent bedside manner and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides nutrition education to hemodialysis patients.
• Completes monthly assessments and reviews labs with patients.
• Rounds with physicians weekly or as needed.
• Recommends vitamins, binders, and nutritional supplements.
• Works with interdisciplinary team to address nutritional and emotional needs of patients.
• Monitors patients’ weights, adjusting diet and fluid needs.
• Participates in QAPI and team collaboration with other Registered Dietitians.
• Engages in patient-centered education projects.
