Job summary

Health Systems Management, Inc. is seeking a Registered Dietitian to join our dialysis center team in Winston-Salem.

You will provide nutrition education to hemodialysis patients, conduct monthly assessments, and collaborate with physicians and the care team to optimize patient outcomes. The role requires a Bachelor’s in nutrition or Dietetics, a current RD license, and a minimum of one year in clinical dietetics (ESRD preferred).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition or Dietetics required (state license where applicable).
• Master’s degree in nutrition or Dietetics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides nutrition education to hemodialysis patients.
• Completes monthly assessments and reviews labs with patients.
• Rounds with physicians weekly or as needed.
• Recommends vitamins, binders, and nutritional supplements.
• Works with interdisciplinary team to address nutritional and emotional needs of patients.
• Monitors patients’ weights and adjusts diet and fluid needs.
• Participates in QAPI and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
• Engages in patient-centered education projects.
