Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Georgia is seeking a Charge Nurse to guide direct patient care staff, oversee dialysis operations and ensure safe, high-quality outcomes. The role requires supervising staffing, coordinating treatments, and enforcing policies in collaboration with the Facility Administrator.

You will participate in patient care plan meetings, train staff, and maintain compliance with OSHA and state/federal regulations while delivering cost-efficient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing and RN licensed.
• Minimum 12 months nursing experience; 6 months dialysis experience preferred.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day guidance to direct patient care staff and provide feedback.
• Oversee staffing, hiring, firing and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Ensure compliance with policies and regulations; approve/disapprove time changes.
• Supervise documentation of patient information and coordinate with RNs.
• Participate in patient care plan meetings and staff training; ensure safety.
